Lenovo has revealed the world’s first television set powered by Google’s Android 4.0 operating system at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

The Lenovo K91 Smart TV, to be initially exclusive to the Chinese market, will be available in 42″ and 50″ models.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon processor running at 1.5Ghz will power the set, which offers 1GB of Ram, SD card storage support and a 5mp webcam. Its remote control features touch-screen technology and an integrated microphone.

“As the world’s first smart TV powered by QualComm’s 8060 Snapdragon dual core CPU, the K91 is also the world’s first smart TV running the Android 4.0 operating system – which will revolutionise technology in the living room,” read a statement from Lenovo.
